Movie Night and Scholarship Fundraiser

HCRW is gearing up to support Republican efforts as we head toward November’s election. With the primaries behind us, we’re proud to stand behind a strong slate of conservative candidates committed to keeping Haywood County and North Carolina on the right track.

We had a wonderful time at our recent “Movie Night” at the VFW, featuring a showing of MELANIA. The evening also gave us the opportunity to collect donations for the Mountain View Young Republicans—thank you to everyone who came out and contributed.

Coming up, we’re looking forward to our second annual scholarship fundraiser, A Wonderland Tea, happening this Sunday, April 26th from 3–5 PM. There are still a few tickets available, so if you’d like to join us for a fun and meaningful afternoon, please call Susan at 919-880-0836. Guests will enjoy live music by Two Armadillos, delicious food, and a silent auction featuring themed baskets such as gardening, family fun, Trump wine and glasses, and a beauty collection. Homemade cakes will also be part of the auction—always a highlight!

We’re also proud to share that HCRW will be attending the Haywood County Schools Foundation scholarship presentations at Pisgah and Tuscola High Schools on Thursday, May 7th, where we will award our very first scholarships. There are so many deserving young people in Haywood County, and we’re honored to support their educational journeys.
