EACHUS RESIDENCE 700 Laurel Ridge Dr | Waynesville NC We'll begin gathering at 11:00 to watch the Inauguration of the 47th President of the United States, Donald J Trump. Enjoy lunch and a champagne toast as we raise a glass to celebrate America being great again!
There will be no charge for HCRW Members and you may join on the day of the event. Women may join as Primary Members for $50 [$25 goes to HCRW/$25 goes to the National Federation of Republican Women) Men may join as Associate Members for $25. Non-members my donate $10 to attend this event. Men, women, members, and non-members are welcome to attend this event. VFW 216 Miller St Waynesville NC HCRW will be showing Hillbilly Elegy : A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis. Based on VP Candidate J.D. Vance's bestselling book, Hillbilly Elegy was made into a film by Oscar winner Ron Howard and stars Amy Adams, Glenn Close, and Gabriel Basso.
Arrive at 6:00 PM if you'd like to order food from the VFW Grill. The movie will begin at 6:30 after a short meeting. Popcorn will be available for a small donation. |
High Country Republican Women will host several events throughout the year. We will have business meetings on the 4th Thursday of the month at the VFW Post 5202 at 216 Miller Street in Waynesville, NC unless indicated otherwise. You do not have to be a member to attend an event, but we'll have membership information available for you and would like to invite you to join. Women and men can be members - and both are invited to attend our meetings to find out more about HCRW.

NC Treasurer, Dale Folwell, speaks at HCGOP
January 16, 2023: Dale Folwell spoke at the HC GOP HQ. He reviewed his achievements as NC Treasurer in bringing efficiencies to state government, allowing legislators to lower taxes and build a rainy day fund.
He also discussed his battle with the healthcare cabal for healthcare services to increase the transparency and thereby reduce the cost of healthcare in NC. There were many members of HCRW in attendance and asking questions. There is much statewide speculation Treasurer Folwell may run for governor. "Exposing Crimes of Socialism"
