HCRW Christmas Stockings for Veterans

Donations accepted through December 15th
Silver Treasures | 216 Miller St | Waynesville NC Thank you to everyone who has already donated to HCRW's Soldiers' Angels Christmas Stocking campaign! We’ve pledged 100 stockings that will be delivered to Veterans spending the holidays at the Asheville VA Hospital, and we’re almost there. We still need a few more donations to help us meet our goal. The deadline for contributions is Monday, December 15th, and items may be dropped off at Silver Treasures on Main Street in Waynesville. Items still needed include: • Single-serve cookie packages • Playing cards/card games • Individually wrapped holiday candy • Small notepads If you'd rather make a monetary donation - that works too! We need a bit of help to cover the cost of items we've purchased - red Christmas stockings, warm knit caps and socks, word puzzle books, and holiday lip balm. High Country Republican Women will host several events throughout the year. We will have business meetings on the 4th Thursday of the month at the VFW Post 5202 at 216 Miller Street in Waynesville, NC unless indicated otherwise. You do not have to be a member to attend an event, but we'll have membership information available for you and would like to invite you to join. Women and men can be members - and both are invited to attend our meetings to find out more about HCRW.
